The convenient location of Camping de Berken, in the middle of nature and yet close to Assen. Whether you come for walking, cycling or just relaxing. The campsite is 14 minutes by car from Anloo. It is definitely worth a visit to this agricultural Brinkdorp.
- The Village Center of Anloo: In the village center of Anloo you will find a number of characteristic, centuries-old farmhouses. These traditional Drenthe buildings give you a glimpse into the village's agricultural past.
- The Etstoel, one day a year, centuries back in time, is a cultural and historical tradition that has its origins in the Middle Ages. The event is organized annually in August to honor local history and culture. The Etstoel in Anloo is thus an event that offers residents and visitors alike the chance to experience the culture, traditions and conviviality of the region.
Lovely place with its own sanitary facilities
Fantastic to be back at De Berken, this is already the 4th time for us. What a tranquillity and what a lovely place with its own sanitary facilities. At reception we were warmly welcomed by what is now the younger generation. The area is lovely and quiet and for shopping you don't have to drive far. Borger is the place to be, with many nice shops and eateries it tops the list. And then Emmen with its beautiful zoo: wow it's so big! And the market with many stalls selling all sorts of things. We will definitely come back here again.

Worth repeating. Already booked for 2024
Once again had a fantastic holiday at de Berken. 3-week stay with our own caravan on spacious pitch with private sanitary facilities. Deliberately chose quiet field without play area. Sanitary facilities clean and tidy on arrival. Super. Attention to you as a guest, on arrival, stay and departure (and afterwards by e-mail). Very friendly team of staff. Lovely campsite for families with young children but also for seniors and other holidaymakers. Campsite does not have large facilities such as swimming pool, disco, restaurant but given the surroundings, this is not a lack. Beautiful campsite in beautiful Drenthe. Highly recommended.

Excellent camping
4x a day toilets are checked and kept up if necessary. Artificial grass in front of the caravan. 10 ampere electricity. Pay separately. For 7 days with ebike we lost 14,40. Friendly staff. Beautiful living room where you can sit when it is cold. In short, a campsite to recommend.

TOP campsite
Fine campsite. Spacious pitches (also with private sanitary facilities) Ideal campsite for families with (young) children but also for e.g. senior citizens. Various rental possibilities. Been a guest on a pitch with private sanitary facilities for years. Involvement and friendliness of staff is TOP. Pity that adjacent catering establishments (not part of the campsite) have poor opening hours, but fortunately there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. De Berken: a must
