Our hiker's huts are suitable for 4 persons and are therefore ideally suited for a stay with the whole family. Not comparable with camping, because even when the weather is bad, you can sit comfortably inside and have fun at the table. And when the weather clears up outside? Then with one step you are in the middle of the beautiful surroundings of Unesco Geopark de Hondsrug.
Hiker's hut in Drenthe: fully equipped
Besides a table with 4 chairs, many other facilities are standard included with our hiker's cabins. Of course there are 2 bunk beds, sleeping a total of 4 people. You will also find a two-burner gas stove with a kettle, electric lighting and a wall socket for all your basic needs.
You hardly need to bring anything yourself for daily maintenance and care. A broom, bucket, washing-up bowl, clothesline, hooks and dustpan and brush; it's all there. And would you like to sit outside in nice weather? Then use the 4 outdoor chairs or the cosy wooden picnic table.
Numerous sights and attractions
Of course, there are also a number of things that you do need to take with you. Think of sleeping materials such as sheets, blankets, pillowcases and sleeping bags. A set of pans, crockery and cutlery are also recommended if you plan to stay for a longer period. One night is of course a possibility, but a longer stay is recommended to fully discover Drenthe.
In the surroundings of your cabin there is a lot to see and do. You can cycle to your heart's content in the vast nature reserve of Unesco Geopark de Hondsrug or take the children to one of the many swimming pools in the area. There are also plenty of day attractions, such as the popular tree crown path, an amusement park and the dolmen centre.
