Centre facilities
Our centre facilities contists of our reception, “forgotten items” shop, library and launderette with small freezer.
Indoor playground "Berkabouter"
The ‘Berkabouter’ is an indoor playground where you can enjoy playing with your friends, even if the weather is not that great. You can play table tennis both inside and outside. Bring your own bats and balls or buy them in our ‘forgotten items’ shop. On the outside terrain near the ‘Berkabouter’ there’s also a boules area where everyone can practice their boules skills.
Sanitary facility 1
This sanitary facility is closeby the centre facilities. If it’s cold outside both sanitary blocks are comfortably warm thanks to underfloor heating, creating an agreeable atmosphere.
Sanitary facility 2
This sanitary facility is in walking distance of pitches near several playgrounds. This sanitary block is equipped with toilets (some of which are raised and have handles), spacious showers and a family shower, washing cabins with lukewarm water, dishwashing places, a vegetable washing place and clothes sinks, and a chemical toilet disposal point.
This sanitary block is also equipped with special children's sanitary facilities!
Verhuurcaravans
Would you like to have all conveniences? Then these 4-person rental chalet de luxe or this 6-person rental chalet de luxe (no. 124) are the ideal accommodations for you on our campsite. Do you have children? Then you can keep an eye on them from the partly covered veranda.
Hikers' Cabins
The three hikers’ cabins are located on a completely car-free field at the front of the site. You can park your car in the car park. Luggage carts are available to you.
Playground play paradise
This playground consists of a big sandbox with a play set and a swingset.
Play set for younger children
This field has some play sets for the younger children. Here they can play in the sandbox with water.
Playground for 6 - 12 years old
For the daredevils under our younger guests we have a big playset where they can climb, crawl, hang and slide. It is set-up at the edge of the forest and you can see over the campsite from the tower.
Tent pitches with natural playground
The 13 spacious tent pitches are located on the edge of the forest in a natural environment. In the middle of the tent area, there’s a naturally designed playground with a toddler maze and sandbox. A picnic table is waiting for you at every pitch! This way you can comfortably enjoy your well deserved holiday.
Playground sand factory
This field has a beautiful playground with a huge sandbox and a water device. The various water chutes, hoists and water tanks ensure that the children's imagination never runs out! There are all comfort pitches around this playground.
Playground house
This playground is ideal for your children to build sandcastles.
Restaurant la Costa
In the adjacent Restaurant la Costa we want our guests to feel right at home. Outside on the terrace you have a beautiful view of the moorland that faces the restaurant. With a little luck, you’ll see deer grazing. Enjoy a tasty treat while sitting in the sun sheltered from the wind.
Two-person Berken studios
Our luxurious two-person Berken studios are equipped with all comforts. These studios have their own shower, toilet and wash basin, 2 single box spring beds, a kitchenette and veranda with awning. The Berken studios (numbers 8 and 9) are located on a quiet part of the campsite, without a playground, making this the ideal accommodation for relaxation. Playground rental chalets
This water and sand playground is surrounded by 6-person rental chalets, 6-person rental chalets de luxe and 4-person rental chalets with front room. You can see your children playing while you enjoy your holiday!
Two-person Berken studios de Luxe
Sleep in our two-person Berken studios de Luxe, which are equipped with all comforts. These studios have their own XXL shower, toilet and wash basin, comfortable beds, a kitchenette and large veranda with outdoor set. The Berken studios (numbers 106, 107, 108 and 109) are located on a quiet part of the campsite, without a playground, making this the ideal accommodation for relaxation. Enjoy the nature of Drenthe without a care in the world!
